Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how ROCKET LLC SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the ROCKET iPhone app (the “App”) and the website at rocketllc.app (the “Website”).
We are the data controller for the limited personal data described below. Our contact details are at the end of this policy.
The short version
- The App has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs.
- Everything you write in the App is stored only on your iPhone. We never receive it.
- The App works offline and makes no network requests of its own.
- We only receive personal data if you email us.
Information we collect
In the App
We do not collect personal data through the App. The entries you create (title, category, date and optional note) and two app settings (whether you have finished onboarding, and your language choice) are saved in the App’s local storage on your device. They are not transmitted to us or to anyone else.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and anything you choose to attach.
On the Website
The Website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising, and it loads its fonts and images from our own server. Like any website, the server that hosts it may record technical request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
How we use information
We use the information you send by email only to reply to you and to fix problems you report. Technical server data is used only to deliver and secure the Website.
Our legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in answering your requests and keeping the Website running (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Third-party services
The App contains no third-party code that collects data. Some services outside the App are involved in distributing it and running the Website:
- Apple App Store. Apple handles downloads and updates under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your Apple ID or payment information.
- Website hosting and email. Our hosting provider stores the Website and our mailbox and processes this data only on our behalf and under our instructions.
Analytics and diagnostics
The App contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools. If you have turned on “Share with App Developers” in your iPhone’s Analytics settings, Apple may share crash reports and aggregated usage statistics with us through App Store Connect. Apple controls that setting and the data it provides, and you can turn it off at any time in iOS Settings.
Data storage and security
Your entries live in a database inside the App on your iPhone and are protected by the security features of iOS, including your passcode and device encryption. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, the App’s data may be included in that backup, which you control. We have no way to access your entries.
Data retention and deletion
Entries stay on your device until you delete them. You can delete one entry from its detail screen, delete everything with Settings → Delete All Data, or delete the App. See Support for step-by-step instructions.
We keep emails only as long as needed to answer your request and follow up on it, and no longer than 24 months. Server request data is kept for the short period set by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
Your privacy rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Because the App does not send us your data, these rights mainly concern emails you have sent us.
To use any of these rights, email launch@rocketllc.app. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in the country where you live. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
Children’s privacy
The App collects no personal data from anyone, including children. If a child has emailed us and a parent wants that message deleted, contact us and we will delete it.
International data transfers
The App transfers no data. If a service provider we use processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date.
